Immigrant Connection Inc. at Garden City, Kansas is an extension site of IC Inc. at Olathe and is hosted by The Community - La Comunidad, led by Madelyn Martinez Valdes. An immigrant herself, Madelyn is an accredited Department of Justice Representative and provides immigration legal services locally in English and Spanish.
“Garden City is a very diverse community in the middle of rural America who are learning what it takes to live together. Immigrant Connection in Garden City has become a trusted partner in the community. Hundreds of immigrants have been able to access affordable high quality immigration legal services,” shares Site Director Jim Wood.
The Community - La Comunidad actively seeks to serve all immigrants through citizenship classes, a food pantry, food distribution, and a free computer lab.
